Bart Starr-Vice Chairman
Football legend, Bart Starr, has focused much of his last 20 years on healthcare real estate. He works closely with Mr. Sanders in cultivating development and acquisition opportunities nationwide, while establishing corporate strategy.
 
Most recently, as Chairman of Healthcare Realty Services, successor to Starr Sanders Properties, his company developed more than 25 medical facilities in excess of $400 million in value and Mr. Starr oversaw property management services to buildings of 6.8 million square feet nationwide.
 
From 1956 through 1971, he was quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, leading the team to five world championships. In 1977, he was inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame. From 1975 through 1983, he was Head Coach and General Manager of the Packers.

News and Events

The first Bart Starr Award was presented in 1989 to the NFL player best exemplifying outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field and in the community.

Presented by Mr. Starr at the Super Bowl Breakfast, recipients have included, Mike Singletary, Reggie White, Trent Dilfer and most recently Anthony Munoz.

In 1965, while with the Packers, Bart and his wife Cherry helped co-found Rawhide Boys Ranch, a facility designed to help at-risk and troubled boys and they remain active in its leadership.
